Since the phlebotomy service closed at Romsey Hospital, I have been contacted by a number of constituents who have highlighted how the closure has impacted them.
The ICB has been determined to push this through, regardless of the difficulties Romsey residents have in accessing services at the hospitals in Southampton or Lymington. We all know that neither are accessible via a direct public transport link and not everyone has access to a car.
I want to ascertain how much of a difficulty this is causing Romsey residents and it would be very helpful to hear from residents who have tried to book an appointment, how far you had to travel, and what your experience was compared to the previous experience at Romsey.
