Sometimes the little victories mean just as much as the more profound ones, and over the last month I have been working to help a constituent get his Facebook page restored after it was hacked.

This week has seen me return to the issue of childcare post lockdown in Education Questions. I am very concerned that the sector, which was already under stress, will be even more challenged as lockdown relaxes and more parents go back to work.

We have seen the return of Select Committees able to meet every week this week, which certainly is upping the level of scrutiny. But we are also light on numbers in Parliament, as many members are still obliged to shield themselves or members of their family.
It was great to see the Farmers’ Market back in Romsey last weekend. Although the queue wasn’t what we had seen previously, there was huge enthusiasm for that little piece of normality to resume.
